These barrow bags are about the size of a domestic wheelie bin and are stuffed full of beautiful kiln-dried ash or Oak and birch. All the logs are cut to 25cm lengths and have been dried to a moisture content of below 20%, but normally lower than 15%. They can be used for cooking on your BBQ grill or inside on your wood burning stove.
Requiring less storage space that the larger 1m3 & 1.2m3 bulk bags these barrow bags are NOT delivered on a pallet and even have a tie down lid. We are happy to deliver the Barrow bag up to the step or front door of your home, or round the side by using a "Sack Barrow trolley", as long as the path is clear. but NOT up steps, as they are too heavy. The bags are too heavy for one person to carry, to go up steps requires two strong people.
Kiln-dried wood is certainly the best fuel to use in your wood burning appliance or open fireplace. Our premium quality kiln dried hardwood logs have been dried in a purpose-built kiln to reduce their moisture content to between 12% - 18% and split to a length of 20cm - 25cm. Due to their lower moisture content, kiln dried logs burn for longer than seasoned logs and have a higher calorific value. Our high quality premium kiln dried logs have a calorific value of 4.2kwh/kg.
These are perfect amount for a garden party or outside event where you need logs for a centre piece fire pit or chiminea. Our kiln dried logs are great for using cooking outside on an outdoor fire pit.
