Briquettes or "Heat Logs" as they are know are logs made from compressed wood shavings, and they are fantastic for so many reasons. Formed into a log with no additives or binders and squeezed under immense produce a perfect log that burns with incredible heat output. Each briquette log is the same as 2-3 kiln dried logs in terms of heat generation. They are easy to stack too, saving space when compared to storing firewood.
Now offered as a Oak and Beech mix briquette, these are ideal for pizza ovens, barbecues and wood smokers. Remember, briquettes need to be stored in dry conditions, if they get wet or damp, they will expand and will become unusable.
